Congenital Defects


Although it would be wonderful the unfortunate fact is that, like every breed, German Shepherds have their share of problems which can and occationally does show up. Following is a list of problems found, through various noted resources, to be congenital defects in the German Shepherd.

Cryptorchidism (non-descent of testicles)
Elbow Dysplasia
Ununited anconeal process
Panostotis (Pano)

Von Willebrandt's Disease
